acornea _ AV composition

a c o r n e a It is about the state of an eye unable to see, its desire to express itself through the remaining body. Its primary functionality lost, will give awareness of the beauty contained in all the elements, the wealth of different languages, all things until now hidden to it,

because of its functional vanity. This short story has the attempt to satisfy the narrative side of the composition; being it conceived about the concept of fear, we wanted to use the absence of visibility as main characterization. ''If there were a little more silence if we all kept quiet... maybe we could understand..." Federico Fellini Fear as unexpected, aversion, shaking, shivering, painful emotion... Fear is an emotional response to a perceived threat. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain or the threat of danger. There is a typological distinction between the external and internal fear: - External fear is caused by something out of you which you are strongly motivated to avoid. - Internal fear is something outside of you that you link a negative emotion. Many are in fact, the symbols and mental interactions of this state in relation to the psyche and it is simple to realize the multitude of suggestions it involves on the material as well the psychological side of the human being. "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown" H.P. Lovecraft Society has always invested prevalently on the sight as main channel to express as well to receive informations. The absence of light is so associated to a lacking sense of security, to a state of impotence. Denying to a human any one sense, fear will intensify. The reason for this intensification is logical- perceived dangers can do more damage and have a greater probability of doing more damage if one cannot use their senses fully. Being so used to sight, most of humans have loosed the notion of the potentiality related to the other sensory organs. Although the sight is usually the sense of which one has more expectations in terms of orientation, there is to think that it cannot in any way warn us of the danger from behind us, to easily understand its limitations and the necessity to join the use of our senses for an effective prevention. It is well known that when humans loose the functionality of one sense, the evolution, guided from the survival instinct, increase the perception through the remaining sensory organs. In some way it is correct to say that more we have, more we loose... acornea wants to be the state where our attention is focused in equal way on every sense, in which the perception is acquired as a totality for a condition in which even the silence has something to say.
